The Currency Market API offers a clear and structured way to retrieve live currency data from the markets. It splits the data into two endpoints: one for retrieving only the list of currency names and another for fetching detailed exchange rate information. This modular structure avoids overloading requests and allows clients to target only the required data efficiently.

The API provides real-time currency listings and exchange rate details for global markets.
The API has two endpoints: "currency names" for listing and "currency details" for detailed exchange rate data.
Data is updated in near real-time with timestamps provided in the response.
The Currency Market API provides two main endpoints: one for retrieving a list of currency names and another for fetching detailed exchange rate information.
The modular structure of the Currency Market API allows users to target only the required data efficiently, avoiding overloading requests and improving performance.
The "currency names" endpoint returns a list of currency symbols and their corresponding names. The "currency details" endpoint provides detailed exchange rate information, including the price, change, and percentage change for a specified currency.
The "currency names" response includes fields like "symbol" and "name." The "currency details" response features fields such as "Symbol," "Name," "Price," "Change," "Change %," and "52 Wk Range."
The response data is structured in JSON format. The "currency names" endpoint returns an array of currency objects, while the "currency details" endpoint returns a single object with key-value pairs for each data field.
The "currency names" endpoint provides a comprehensive list of available currencies, while the "currency details" endpoint offers specific exchange rate data, including price fluctuations and historical ranges.
Users can customize requests to the "currency details" endpoint by specifying the desired currency symbol as a parameter. This allows retrieval of information for a specific currency pair, such as "EURUSD=X."
The Currency Market API aggregates data from various financial markets and exchanges, ensuring a broad coverage of global currency pairs for accurate and reliable exchange rate information.
Typical use cases include financial analysis, currency conversion applications, trading platforms, and economic research, where users need real-time or historical currency exchange information.
Users can leverage the returned data for real-time monitoring of currency pairs, analyzing market trends, and integrating exchange rate information into applications for financial decision-making.
